The one movie that I could watch over and over again would have to be Finding Nemo. I have loved this movie ever since it came out and I can watch it over and over and never get tired of it. It has so many elements to it. The movie contains suspense, sadness, comedy, adventure, and the happy ending. Also, my favorite character is squirt and I think he is just so cute and seeing him makes me happy.
I prefer seeing a film in the comfort of my own home rather then at the theater. Watching a movie at home is much better to me because I can curl up with a blanket on my couch and eat whatever i want from my fridge. When I am home I don’t have to worry about other people talking or babies crying. The only disadvantage of watching a movie at home is that I do not have a gigantic screen to watch it on. To me though, this is not really a disadvantage because it doesn’t bother me watching the movie on my TV at home or even on my computer.
I watched most of the Academy Awards this past sunday. I found it very interesting and it made me want to go and see a bunch of movies I have not seen. Also after watching the Academy Awards, I decided that I wanted to see every movie that has ever won best picture. Therefore, I signed up for Netflix and I am going to watch everyone of the movies I can get my hands on. In the past I never really watched movies, and now I have 81 on my list to watch.

The Wall Street Journal in the Classroom
I was not the most avid newspaper reader before I started taking my mass communications class. The only time I ever read the newspaper was when I was on break at work. Typically, I would get to read the Orlando Sentinel a couple nights a week. I enjoyed reading stories on what was going on in Orlando, upcoming events, and articles dealing with fashion. In addition to reading the newspaper at work I frequently read the stories on Yahoo and other various websites.
Newspapers to me, are a great source for information. I enjoy more local papers because they can tell you what is happening close to home. Newspapers also are a great place for advertising. If I read an article or review on a restaurant, a new store, or an event, I almost always want to go and check it out. I just never seem to have the time to sit down and read about all of the news going on in todays world. I prefer to access the information on the internet because its all just a click away. With the internet, there is no searching for the article you want to read or having to flip pages, its all just right in front of you.
Using the Wall Street Journal to learn about mass communications has to be one of the best ideas for learning that a professor has come up with yet. I am not a traditional learner and I do not like to use textbooks. Textbooks are outdated and monotonous. Reading the Wall Street Journal for class really turns learning in a new direction. Everything we read is currently happening, and affecting us right now. This really is learning made interesting. I expect to go away from this class with a far greater amount of knowledge then I would have had from a traditional class. The Wall Street Journal exceeded my expectations and I truly enjoy learning from it.
